A Forbidden Love

Two cousins, one the son of an English lord and other the son of a German prince, reunite in the summer of 1914 for an idyllic holiday at the family estate in Norfolk.
As they explore their own forbidden feelings for each other, the international situation worsens. Ultimately they are separated as war is declared and serve in the British Army and the German Navy. Both witness the horrors of war but their resolve to be reunited remains unbroken despite the obstacles they might face once the war is over.
