HFC makes no claim that any purchase of a blog tour through CPBC included inclusion into the HFC Book of the Year contest - blog tour package purchases through CPBC did not include inclusion into the HFC contest. Books with asterisk were included through the personal selection stack of the HFC team. This only applied to the current contest of 2021 (being the first year of the contest). All future contests beginning with 2022 abide by this: all books judged in the contest must be entered through HFC submissions either by Editorial Review with Contest Entry, or Contest Entry only. No further books read through a CPBC blog tour or personal selection will be admitted to the contest unless contest submission fee is purchased for the specific book.
